Helena Bonham Carter’s hair is actually naturally straight.

Between public appearances she descends to her basement lair and summons a posse of sprites and demons to help curl her hair up. Having been imbued with the power to summon dark portals to the netherworld she does little more with them than preparing hair and make-up, and household chores.

The Minor Imp is more often than not a very docile creature, spending it’s time swimming around beneath the frozen freshwater lakes of Siberia.

However, once a decade the Minor Imp undergoes a terrible transformation, it’s deep purple skin turning a deep crimson alerts any locals to vacate the area.  Extremities begin to mutate and bend out of shape, turning into grotesque tools of destruction. It’s lower jaw begins to jut and rows of teeth begin to buck.

Keanu Reeves is rarely seen outside of his host body.

On such occasions however, he enjoys scuttling around supermarkets, re-arranging canned goods on the lowermost shelves.

His favoured tinned good to move around is Heinz leek and onion soup.

Vladimir seems to attract the unusual and the impossible.

One such example would be the giant funerary masks worn by the various Egyptian Pharaohs that watch over Vladimir while he sleeps. Tonight Tutankhamen’s mask stands guard over Vlad, ready to blast any ne’erdo wells into soot with his laser eye beams.

Vladimir works on behalf of the Communist Propaganda Society to further the spread of communism throughout Russia and a few of her neighbouring countries. Unfortunately the CPS hasn’t had much success in recent years, and have sunken to shouting rallying slogans in town squares, and handing out brightly coloured flyers to anyone who will take one.

Vladimir dutifully takes his stacks out into the cold winter morning and stands to one side, waiting for eager young communists to come along and listen to his message.

Ural has friends other than Vladimir.

Once upon a time Ural worked for the Chechen National Circus as a clown, his legacy still visible through his massive shoes. Here we see him talking to two of his ex-circus comrades, a juggler named Nikolai and a trapeze artist called Amiina.

Unbeknowst to many, Vladimir is an active deep-sea swimmer and often attempts long-distances.
Here we see him greasing up with the popular communist brand ‘The People’s Goose-Fat”.

Welcome one and all, to a web comic I’ve been meaning to set up for ages now. This site will chronicle the many adventures of a curious orange blob you will all come to know and love called Vladimir.

What are his origins? Why doesn’t he talk? What is his stance on Marmite?

I aim to answer all of these exciting questions in the many weeks and months to come.
