SOLE (Student Online Learning Environment)
SOLE was the result of a project to realise a "Virtual College" for students, a portal that linked four areas of interest that were being introduced over the course of summer 2007 along with video tutorials on how to use them.
This included a facebook-style social area called My Site, and a Student Intranet built using Sharepoint 2007. SOLE also featured a student email service, and a Virtual Learning Environment called Moodle.

Studinet (Student Intranet)
The Student intranet built on Sharepoint 2007 was a big step up from the previous verstion of Studinet. Both teaching and executive staff were able to update their own areas themselves, which meant that content could be kept up to date.
Also on the page were four social areas for students, covering music, games, music and sport. In these areas were RSS feeds, forums and polls.
